Event space

This space is situated in the heart of the former Odeon building and will be the main thoroughfare when the theatres are in use. Tables and chairs could be set up in this area but this space lends itself best to pop-up performances for the public sitting in the café and restaurant to enjoy or for exhibitions, or projections onto a large screen that can be flown down into the space where the original Odeon proscenium arch screen was.

And last, but not least…

The following three performance/screening spaces will be less frequently available for community activity due to the programmed, ticketed events taking place but certainly present opportunities for the community programme.

If you are a local, amateur or voluntary organisation that would like to perform or exhibit in these spaces then they are also available for a straight hire.

Cinema

Although the 100-seat boutique cinema will be screening 4 films a day, you might want to use the cinema for a community or school event, for film screenings, award ceremony, lectures or debates one morning.
