What's happening in Chester Music Festival?

Chester Music Festival returns to Storyhouse this summer with a series of inspiring musical events and interventions across the building.

The exciting programme brings together special premieres, live jazz, brilliant Big Band soundworldclass classical recitals, contemporary dance, and an indie-folk trio named after a Glasgow curry house. There’s even a chance to join in the music-making yourself in the Big Storyhouse Jam-along. Meanwhile this year’s composer-in-residence is the young, multi awardwinning Bulgarian Dobrinka Tabakova who creates what the Washington Times described as ‘exciting, deeply moving’ work.

Get ready for a summer of music made for you in your house.
