Chester Reads – Calling Chester’s Biggest Book Lovers!

Chester Reads – Calling Chester’s Biggest Book Lovers!

This autumn, we are creating a brand-new shared experience for our community where we will all come together to explore one incredible story.

Everyone will be invited to turn the pages of the city’s chosen book, and to bring the story to life with pop-up talks, screenings, events and readings in coffee shops, pubs, libraries, offices and beyond throughout November.

The book will be chosen by the community later this spring from a shortlist of titles suggested by the city’s biggest book lovers, and we are on the hunt to find them!

Is there a book that truly opened your mind, or your perspective? Could it have the power to heal or inspire? Does it offer a window onto a world that might make us all a little better off for exploring? Would you love to see your community reading it on the bus and talking about it in the supermarket queue?

If you love books, and you live or work in or around Chester then we’d like to hear from you!
Simply complete the Chester’s Biggest Book Lover form on this page

Or pick one up in your local library and either:
– hand your completed form to a member of the library team
– post directly to Chester Reads, Storyhouse, Hunter Street, CH1 2AR.
