Set in Paris in the early 1990s, 120 Beats Per Minute follows ACT UP – a group of radical activists seeking to bring attention to the AIDS epidemic in the city, demanding immediate action from Big Pharma companies and medical professionals to do something. Winner of the Grand Prix at last year’s Cannes Film Festival it is a film full of passion, politics, love and friendship.
