Wellbeing Presentation

A SLiCE of arts and wellbeing satisfies

Can arts and culture improve your own and others mental health and well-being? Through a range of personal examples and those from my time as a primary school leader I will put forward the case that arts and culture can not only heal but are a prerequisite for a happy and harmonious life and society. How we connect to one another through our own artistic outputs and how we engage with the work of others is how we ultimately function and progress. My work as a SLiCE (Specialist Leader in Cultural Education) culminated in are search paper around health and well-being which will be shared and discussed–including relevant research around this area.

This presentation will take place on Zoom. After booking you will receive an email with the link and passcode a few days before the event.
