Wellbeing Presentation

Since 2015 I’ve supported over 150 creative learning projects in schools across North Wales and in this time, I’ve come to realise that creativity has wider transformative potential within education. In 2020, I founded Tybed (Welsh for ‘I Wonder’), a social enterprise that aims to help schools adopt whole-school approaches to creativity and innovation with the question of ‘What is education for?’ as a core focus.

ConneXions is a community group of mainly older people living in Trefnant, Denbighshire, set up in response to the number of isolated individuals living in the village who are also looking for a sense of purpose. This presentation will tell the story of the group’s partnership with the local primary school, and how together with the children they aim to discover what it really means to be part of the community and how creativity is allowing everyone to discover what education could be.

This presentation will take place on Zoom. After booking you will receive an email with the link and passcode a few days before the event.
