Wellbeing Presentation
In Conversation with local Biblio-Poetry Therapy Practitioner Lisa Rossetti and Academic Researcher Judith Blundell.
Covid Regulations have impacted on more traditional practices of face to face group storytelling and interconnection. This presentation explores in conversation the challenges of delivering a storytelling for wellbeing project from both practitioner and researcher perspectives in a socially distanced and disrupted world.
We ask how the experience and practice of storytelling for wellbeing is impacted by the digital environment, and how both the practitioners’ emotional experience of delivering the project and how the relational connectedness of participants may be also be impacted by the new digital “geography”.
We will present some auto-ethnographical reflections of an arts-based researcher and abiblio-poetry therapy practitioner designing and delivering a Stories for Wellbeing programme during a period of Covid-related regulations and social isolation, sharing some of the materials used and exploring their impact on participants’ Voice and Wellbeing.
This presentation will take place on Zoom. After booking you will receive an email with the link and passcode a few days before the event.
