The Digital World Practical Workshop
Education, both an individual pursuit and a shared experience, is the acquisition of new understanding, knowledge, behaviours, skills and values. For us at Cheshire Dance, it’s about people realising their potential through creating, learning and experiencing dance.
Cheshire Dance has been educating, connecting and co-creating with communities in both formal and informal education settings for over 40 years. Last year pushed us to deliver our mission in new ways reminding us just how vital dance is to the young people, older people and people with disabilities we work with who chose to engage with us through online and offline activity.
Here, we offer an interactive practical lecture/demonstration of our digital practice and how we adapted our work for different groups. We will look at our creative practice online, how we made sessions accessible, how we supported our communities as well as the pitfalls and opportunities we discovered along the way.
This presentation will take place on Zoom. After booking you will receive an email with the link and passcode a few days before the event.
