Acts of Recovery is a dance theatre performance exploring authentic real life stories of recovery from addiction. Personal journeys of discovery will leave you considering the complexities we all face everyday.

The Highlight of the performance will be Fallen Angels Dance Theatre performance “The War Within”, and we will also welcome University of Chester Dance Department, and FADT’s Community Recovery groups from Chester and Liverpool to the stage.

Fallen Angels Dance Theatre tells real-life stories for and about people in recovery: raising awareness, and breaking down barriers and stigma. Since 2009, the company’s founder and director, choreographer Paul Bayes Kitcher, has brought together his experience as a classical dancer with Birmingham Royal Ballet and extensive work in movement and dance theatre with people recovering from addiction – to create productions that provide a unique, emotive and thought-provoking experience.

“a unique evening, the likes of which I haven’t experienced for a very long time, if ever”
