This event is to launch a series of signed Storytimes to take place at Storyhouse.
At this special Storytime you will hear story read, while it is signed by a British Sign Language (BSL) qualified interpreter.
Children will be treated to a snack and a drink before getting the chance to learn basic signs from the book.
The activity has been funded by the I’m Hear! Project, which has recently just secured an extra three years of funding from Children In Need.a href
The first story to be read will be That’s Better, DSN’s very own children’s book to help promote inclusivity and raise awareness of simple ways in which D/deaf people can often be excluded.
