Anne-Marie is course director for the BA Childhood & Youth Studies at Bangor University and currently a trainee Poetry Therapy Practitioner. She is currently developing research around the practice of Writing for Wellbeing (W4W) as CPD in educational contexts.

Dave Moloney is Head of Drama at Fred Longworth High School, a specialist Arts College. He is a SLICE fellow with Curious Minds and in 2017 co-created the short film ‘Where Did All the Art Go?’ that spoke out in support of Cultural Education as a fundamental part of education.

Anne-Marie and Dave will be giving a presentation on a unique project within Curious Minds’ SLICE fellowship scheme that explores the use of Creative Writing as a way of maintaining a healthy, balanced mind-set. Within a broader context where high numbers of educators are leaving the profession due to stress and anxiety, the project offers a safe space for wellbeing-centred CPD.
