Architecture Workshops are a series of free drop-in sessions that began in December 2019. These workshops are aimed at families – it’s all about having fun and learning together.
Sunday 1 March – Architecture as an Instrument
The fourth of our year-round cycle of architecture workshops. This workshop is all about getting inspired by music or a musical instrument to create. Exploring different concepts of construction and narrative, families will get inspiration from instruments to design a house.
Sunday 8 March – Music as a Creative Process
Johann Goethe (1749 – 1832) once said that “Architecture is frozen music”.
In this 75-minute workshop you will be challenged to listen, feel and represent, using several methods of composition. Come along with us and let’s get musically inspired, we can’t wait to see your creations.
