The 100th film from the famously prolific Japanese filmmaker Takashi Miike (13 Assassins). A samurai warrior, saved by a witch and given the gift of immortality, sets out on a trail of vengeance. Expect brilliantly choreographed, outlandishly violent swordplay, Blade of The Immortal is based on Hiroaki Samura’s the manga of the same name and maintains the pace of a series of comics as it moves from battle to battle. Not for the faint-hearted or those adverse to blood.

There will be 15-20 minutes of trailers and adverts before the screening (not included in duration).
