Last event: Saturday 1 September 2018 at 4pm

  • Garret Theatre

Part of: Storyhouse Parent

A reflection of all mothers. The thoughts they have, the confusions, the doubts, the inner voice that is sometimes ignored and the consequences of social and cultural pressures.

Come and participate in a panel discussion where four diverse mothering stories will hopefully lead to meaningful conversations, a connection with fellow mothers and a deep sense of empathy that will be the beginning of coming together as a close-knit support group.

Mothers who are interested in sharing their story please contact rehana@mummyyoga.com

This discussion will be facilitated by a mental health professional and we will aim to highlight the diverse nature of the issues we face before and during pregnancy and after the birth of our babies and beyond.

This session will launch “Bring your own birth stories – #BYOBs” a portal of audio, video and written experiences of women talking about their journeys into becoming mothers. We have a private booth at the festival where you can record your experience in a safe place anytime during the festival.
