Brazilian Storytelling for young children that are bilingual or are interested in learning Brazilian Portuguese. Community leaders Anna and Diana have learnt that lots of families are struggling with passing on their native language to their children, so they are leading this storytelling sessions to help them learn but also to interact with people that are going through the exact same situation.
There will be stories, games and conversation to introduce a vocabulary and culture to the children. It’s intention is to unify the Brazilian community in Chester and surrounding areas and to try to make this storytelling event a regular thing.
To celebrate Children’s Day, which takes place every 12 October, there will also be some Brazilian treats and Brazilian music.
