Directed by Jim Archer
Starring David Earl, Louise Brealey, Nicholas Asbury

Brian lives alone in a remote Welsh village in the countryside. Something of an outcast he spends time inventing things out of found objects in his garage. Without friends or family to rely on, Brian decides to build a robot for company. Charles (the robot) is not only Brian’s most successful invention, but appears to have a personality all of his own and quickly becomes Brian’s best friend. However, soon Charles is creating more problems than Brian bargained for, forcing him to face up to several issues in his life, including confronting the local bully and plucking up courage to speak to the woman he has liked from a distance but never spoken to. A very quirky, very British sweet-natured comedy starring David Earl (Netflix’s After Life).
