Based on the Haruki Murakami novel Barn Burning, Lee Chang-dong’s film sets a noirish love triangle alight. Jong-su bumps into a girl who used to live in the same neighbourhood as him, who asks him to look after her cat while on a trip to Africa. When back, she introduces Ben, a mysterious guy she met there, who confess a secret hobby.

The film will be introduced by a talk from festival curator Jo Crotty.

Saturday screening preceded by a short film as part of the International Animation Festival.
