Two 13-year-old boys Léo and Rémis have a close friendship, since early childhood they have been inseparable – they move seamlessly between each other’s homes, and are part of each other’s family lives. Their relationship is joyful, tactile, and innocent. At the start of a new school term their schoolmates shoot a wedge into the relationship making Leo suddenly aware of how their friendship is perceived by the outside world. Leo starts to distance himself from Remis but his stepping away has huge and devastating consequences.
