Starring: Lena Urzendowaky, Jella Haase, Lena Klenke, Elina Vildanova

In the heat of a shimmering Berlin summer, Nora spends her days as a third wheel to her older sister Jule and her best friend Aylin. They think and talk only of boys whilst wandering the vibrant city streets taking selfies. Feeling the pressures to fit in, Nora goes along with her sister’s frolics -drinking, smoking and flirting with the boys. However, when Nora gets her first period in school it is not Jule, her sister, who comes to help her but older student Romy. A new friendship blossoms between Nora and Romy and Nora falls in love for the first time.

Cocoon is a raw and honest coming-of age take and a true depiction of the trials and triumphs of female adolescence.
