Can we imagine classrooms that are pleasurable and successful for more young people?

Dr Sally Bamber’s professional interests are dominated by a desire to develop more democratic classrooms. She is senior lecturer in Education at the University of Chester, and  is currently conducting classroom based collaborative enquiries in secondary schools that translate research into practice in order to create more pleasurable and successful classrooms, whilst fostering transformative professional learning models.
