Get stuck in with material and tutorials, creating a mini version of what could be the next zine to capture the zeitgeist.
Zoe (she/her) is a London-based writer, editor and zine-maker. She is the founder of sweet-thang, which is a print zine and arts platform celebrating work by Black artists of marginalised genders around the world. sweet-thang is a space for Black joy, activism and healing. Zoe loves DIY culture, daydreaming and the power of print. Zines traditionally fly under the radar of mainstream publishing. They celebrate underground and niche voices and are usually anti-authority. It is this history of zines that inspired Zoe to create sweet-thang, and her work will always carry an ethos of people-power and creative collaboration. Zoe’s dream is to create work on local and international levels.
