Marcello , a small and gentle dog groomer, finds himself involved in a dangerous relationship of subjugation with Simone, a former violent boxer who terrorizes the entire neighbourhood. In an effort to reaffirm his dignity, Marcello will submit to an unexpected act of vengeance.

The film will be introduced by a talk from Professor Claire Parkinson, Professor of Film, Television and Digital Media at Edge Hill University. She is interested in human/animal interaction in popular culture. Her publications include the book Popular Media and Animals (2011).

Preceded by a short film as part of the International Animation Festival.
