Elaine Hanzak is an inspirational speaker on overcoming loss. She uses her life experiences of puerperal psychosis (the most severe form of “postnatal depression”) and bereavement to demonstrate how it is possible to smile again after life has thrown us challenges!

Speaking widely about perinatal mental health since 2005, Elaine explores the importance of honesty and communication around mental well-being in pregnancy and postnatal care, and helps to reduce the stigma around perinatal mental illness.
