Details

There will be a pre-show talk at 6.30pm in the Garret Theatre

The government have advised that, whilst stopping short of forcing theatres and cinemas to close, people should stay away, and so Storyhouse will be temporarily closed from Tuesday 17 March. We are not yet sure how long this will be for, but this does affect a number of events, shows and screenings.

Cosi Fan Tutte has been cancelled.

Composer: Mozart
Director: Laura Attridge
Conductor: Holly Mathieson

This April at Storyhouse, try opera for the first time. Mozart’s Così Fan Tutte is a satirical tale of love and relationships. Two soldiers make a wager that their devoted fiancées won’t cheat on them if they each disguise themselves and attempt to seduce the other’s betrothed. Mozart’s combination of glorious music and farcical comedy make Così Fan Tutte an enduring favourite. It is in many ways Mozart’s most perfect opera.

Sung completely in English.

Director Laura Attridge breathes new life into this classic opera. Holly Mathieson conducts the forces of ETO’s period orchestra, the Old Street Band. This is a Così unlike any you’ve seen before.
