Led by students from University of Chester, who are currently studying to develop or enhance their skills and knowledge as a creative worker within a professional context.
All children must be accompanied by an adult who also wishes to participate in the workshop. Please note the students will be observed by their tutor during the workshop. Please book a ticket for every member of your family.

1-2pm
Creatively involving craft and skill, within a public workshop. You will be exploring issues of sustainability and the natural environment. You will gain some skills by creating unique, sculptural pieces. It will be a playful workshop that will encourage you to explore your own thinking.
2-3pm
Are you interested in ancient Asian art? In this workshop there are different ways to help you to interpret Asian artworks! Come and create your own, have a go at imitating them and feel free to make your creative and unique artwork, which may also help you to discover a different side of you!
3-4pm
This inclusive workshop aims to explore the idea of ownership through drawing. It will offer challenging discussions around value and purpose, amongst other topics. This workshop consists of drawing portraits as well as linking drawing to our breath.
7-8pm
Join us on a journey across the African Savannah through guided meditation, as a solitary noble lion in search of friendship. Children and adults alike are welcome in this multi-sensory, fictional experience based around the concept of belonging. Please wear comfortable clothing and don’t forget to bring plenty of imagination with you.
