Endings are crucial to a successful novel or short story and here, Laura Barnett – author of bestselling novel The Versions of Usand the leader of the Guardian Masterclass on this subject – will share tips for aspiring writers.

This two-hour workshop is a rare chance to pick the brains of a successful and experienced novelist and short story writer. Content will include good and bad examples, editing and trouble-shooting, planning ahead and structuring to ensure that your ending feels inevitable plus knowing when to stop writing and advice on how to sharpen up your ending ahead of potential publication.
