Young Programmers have chosen to celebrate and present films that explore women in sports, the challenges of working in a male-dominated industry and the obstacles that women face when competing in sports.  

Girls Can’t Surf, this 2021 follows the journey of a group of women who took on the male-dominated surfing industry to tackle sexism and misogyny within the industry. With Jodie Cooper, Frieda Zamba, Pauline Menczer, Lisa Anderson this documentary shows the hardship that women face and how hard they will fight to make an impact.
