Director: Rupert Everett
Stars Rupert Everett, Colin Firth, Emily Watson, Colin Morgan

The story of the last years of the great wit and playwright Oscar Wilde, living in exile in Paris following his incarceration in Reading Gaol. A highly personal project for Rupert Everett who wrote, directed and stars in this exemplary bio-pic. Flashing back between his London hey-day and the ignominy of his latter years, Everett creates a moving portrayal of Wilde and his predicament. Colin Firth stars as Reggie Turner, Wilde’s loyal friend who supports him through his exile, and Colin Morgan is Bosie his former lover with whom he briefly rekindles a doomed relationship.
