Harvest Moon Open Mic Night

Once upon a time within the walled city of Chester there was a small café, hidden in plain sight staring the town hall in it’s beady eye. This café sent out the call, a soft vibration and a gentle buzz to the creatives, the poets, the singers, the songwriters, the guitarists, the writers, the passers by, the coffee drinkers and the story thinkers… This café was called the Harvest Moon, and they held an open mic.
The café is long gone but the magic created there lives on within the city through the memories shared and the connections made. Now there is an opportunity to shake and revive and connect once more and see if there are any new editions to welcome to the stage. ·
The Harvest Open Mic is unique because we don’t actually use a microphone or any other amplified equipment during performance.
All art forms are welcome!
We operate on a rule of two: So that is two songs, two poems, two stories or taking considerations if your particular song/set/story/dance is quite long then you make the judgement to perform just one.
This is an inclusive and supportive environment, a place to meet, network, share and inspire, everyone is welcome! If you’d like to perform, you do not need a ticket but please fill in the form below and we’ll pass your details on to the organisers who will be in touch to confirm your slot. If you’d like to come along as an audience member, please book a free ticket.
