Katharine Bevan will be delivering a presentation and discussing how to support SMEs (small, or medium sized enterprise) with their Climate Change Goals.
She’ll give an overview of The Centre for Research into Environmental Science and Technology’s (CREST) aims and activities, highlighting how the department and the University Centre Shrewsbury have supported SMEs who are looking to reduce their environmental impact.
CREST offers free support to SMEs who want to reduce their environmental impact or innovate and develop new products or services.
They are a multi-disciplinary team that works closely with businesses, undertaking any research required to test or provide academic credibility to their project. They can offer advice and support to bring new products and services to market; develop processes to save time and/or money; understand markets and develop successful business models.
Katharine Bevan has a background in geography and an interest in new and innovative ways of how we can reduce environmental impact.
