This session explores the power of spoken word. Working with a trained Speech and language expert from ESB. Together, we explore the classic Julia Donaldson tale of Stick Man and creative alternative adventures for stick man and his family.
Presentation time: your chance to take the stage and share in speaking and listening with others in small groups.
Parents: talk with curriculum expert Tara Jones and a senior college from English Speaking Board as they explain the importance of modelling and teaching spoken language and listening skills. Oracy is the ability to speak eloquently, to articulate ideas and thoughts, to influence through talking, to collaborate with peers and to express views confidently and appropriately.
