From director Maria Schrader (Unorthodox) comes a rom com with a twist. Starring Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey) & Maren Eggert (Berlinale Silver Bear winner), a scientist partakes in an extraordinary experiment: she must live with a humanoid romantic partner for 3 weeks, made specifically for her. 

This screening is in partnership with Chester Film Society. Chester Film Society was started in 1970 to screen international films and documentaries that struggled to get a cinematic release. Across 2021 Storyhouse will be screening regular monthly films selected by members of Chester Film Society.
