Part of: The Japan Foundation Touring Film Programme 2023

Directed by Naakashima Tetsuya
Starring Okada Junichi, Komatsu Nana, Tsumabki Satoshi

Occult writer Nozaki is visited by a counsellor, Tahara. Strange events that can only be described as paranormal phenomena have been occurring one after another in the surroundings recently. Tahara fears that his wife, Kana, and his young daughter, Chisa, will be harmed. Nozaki starts investigating with Makoto, a hostess who has the blood of a medium, but the “something” possessed by the Tahara family is far beyond imagination.

It Comes is a 2018 Japanese supernatural horror, based on the original novel of the same name, directed by Tetsuya Nakashima who pushed horror films from Japan to a new level.
