Based on RC Sheriff & Vernon Bartlett’s celebrated book and play about the horror of life in the first world war trenches, Journey’s End features some of the finest British acting talent as the group of young men awaiting their uncertain fate in a dug out in 1918. One hundred years on from the end of the war a timely reminder of the conflict and the sacrifices made by hundreds of thousands of young men.

This screening will be introduced by members of the Bartlett family whose relative Vernon Bartlett was a soldier, politician, and journalist, and wrote the original text with RC Sheriff.
