With a background in theatre, music, art and immersive experiences, within her role at the Chester Zoo, Lauren Walker is the digital learning officer at Chester Zoo and develops ways of working with the zoo’s audiences with a focus on digital and creative media for conservation education.

This year, Chester Zoo are looking in more detail at developing conservation games within digital platforms. Lauren’s combination of presenting and a practical workshop will look at how the zoo use creative tools and strategies to engage their audiences and develop ideas for digital education interventions, as well as ‘having a go’ at playing some of the games they are developing.
