As part of the Chester Heritage Festival, the newly-revived Cheshire Society of Architects will be on hand to help budding young architects and designers to develop their ideas using a favourite design tool – LEGO!

The first phase of the Northgate Development has recently been completed, featuring the new Chester Market and lots of bars and restaurants – but what’s next for the city centre? What do you think should become of the old Chester Market site and adjoining car park now? What do YOU think Chester needs? If you have any ideas, then please come along, and build them in Lego! Each one-hour session will be hosted by local architects who regularly work on buildings in Cheshire – pick their brains for ideas! Alternatively, be inspired by visiting Chester Cathedral in Lego and the Chester in Lego display in Chester Market – both are very impressive projects!

The sessions are not suitable for younger children due to Lego size. All children should be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
