Dr Karen Llewellyn
I am a career coach who specialises in working with professional women in education and business. My approach is values-led, based on authenticity, compassion and trust. I create a safe, non-judgemental, supportive space for our coaching partnership. Through listening and insightful questioning, I encourage you to increase your self-awareness by exploring and challenging any self-limiting beliefs and assumptions; to bring about increased confidence and desirable behavioural change. By inviting you to surface your values and beliefs, it’s possible to develop different ways of thinking, behaving and managing both yourself and others.
I have coached women at varying levels and points in their careers, including early and mid-career academics, consultant clinicians, senior administrators and managers.
My career background is principally education; working in secondary, further and higher education in academic and professional roles. As former international hockey player, I now play golf, cycle and walk my Labrador in the Yorkshire Dales.
I am a qualified and accredited EMCC Senior Practitioner and my professional practice is underpinned by the EMCC Global Code of Ethics: https://www.emccouncil.org/quality/ethics/
I work face-to-face or via Skype and in addition, I advocate the benefits of coaching in the outdoors – an open and creative space to think – by offering, as an option ‘walking coaching’ (to resume when social distancing ends)
Your e-mail address will be passed onto Karen, who will be in touch to arrange a date & time.
