Welcome back to Storyhouse. We put customer safety at the top of everything we do, however at this time that means a little more than making sure you don’t get struck inadvertently by an actor! It now also means keeping 2 metres apart and wearing a face covering on the move inside the building. We will be asking all our customer to both enjoy themselves and to stick to some easy to follow guidelines. Find out how we’re keeping you safe here.

Based on the true story of the 1970 Miss World Competition. At the time, Miss World was the most-watched TV show on the planet with over 100 million viewers. Claiming that beauty competitions demeaned women, the newly-formed Women’s Liberation Movement achieved overnight fame by invading the stage and disrupting the live broadcast of the competition. Not only that, when the show resumed, the result caused uproar: the winner was not the Swedish favourite but Miss Grenada – the first black woman to be crowned Miss World.
