Part of: In Dreams Are Monsters

Directed by Andrew Flemming
Starring Robin Tunney, Rachel True, Fairuza Balk, Neve Campbell, Skeet Ulrich, Christine Taylor, Breckin Meyer

Teenager Sarah Bailey (Robin Tunney), moves to a new town and becomes involved with a group of girls in school who dabble in witchcraft and worship Manon, a pagan god.

Critically panned on release The Craft has been gathering a cult following over the years. Featuring a perfect 90s female cast including Neve Campbell and Fairuza Balk, The Craft is a witchcraft-as-revenge style plot that tackles in-school issues such as bullying, racism, poverty, body issues and abuse in a way that feels more pertinent in 2022 than back in 1996.

Screening as part of In Dreams Are Monsters: A Season of Horror Films, a UK-wide film season supported by the National Lottery and BFI Film Audience Network.
