In 1993, 16 year old Brandon Lee enrolled at Bearsden Academy, a secondary school in a suburb of Glasgow.

What followed over the next two years became the stuff of legend. Brandon, was not Brandon at all but Brian Mackinnon – a 32 year old who had enlisted in the school with the aim of finally getting the grades he needed to attend medical school. Director Jono McLeod was in the same class and brings this truth is stranger than fiction tale to life.
