Directed by Masaaki Yuasa

An anime rom-com about the role of coincidence, chance, and destiny in love. Directed by visionary director Masaaki Yuasa (The Tatami Galaxy, Lu Over The Wall), it features his trademark colourful, expressive style.

A young man known only as “Senpai” falls in love with the mysterious and beautiful Girl With The Black Hair at Kyoto University. His plans to reveal his true feelings for her, however, are disrupted by a series of bizarre (and occasionally supernatural) happenings which occupy the attention of the free-spirited girl. She goes about her night on the town, drinking and dancing, oblivious to Senior, leaving her love life in the hands of fate.
