The ONLY HUMAN community presents a live electronic music night. This event will bring together some of Chester & North Wales’ most ardent exponents of live electronica. If you’re a fan of all things synthetic, come and and enjoy a night of modular improvisations, acid basslines and drum machines.

Line up:

SWORD SWINGING ROBOT.

From Rave and Trance in the 90s, through to modern Psy Bass and Breaks, Sword Swinging Robot was born of a deep love of electronic dance music. Based in beautiful North Wales, Sword Swinging Robot’s music is a darkly emotive fusion of electronic beats, cinematic soundscapes, and a healthy dose of Acid 303!

ANDY PEGGS

Raised on post punk, synth pop and Factory Records; this melodic machine music is a brew of live drum machines and groove boxes. Think extended 12” mixes for the feet and mind.

RY30 vs RY30

A unique “one-off” performance from ONLY HUMAN favourites Dr Skime and Wasp Burgh. They’ll be going head to head in a vintage drum machine battle. Armed with only a Yamaha RY30 each they will showcase their live improvisational skills in a bid to get the most from their 1991 digital hardware. Do not miss this. May the best programmer win.

PLATFORM ZERO

Platform Zero’s Storyhouse debut is a real treat for all electronic music fans in Chester and North Wales. He excels in producing beautifully crafted chord progressions and melodic arpeggios; all with beats of course. A very modern take on synth pop; as romantic as it is danceable. Essential.
