Two women coincide in a hospital room where they are going to give birth. Both are single and became pregnant by accident. Janis (Penelope Cruz), middle-aged, doesn’t regret it. The other, Ana (Milena Smit), an adolescent, is scared. Janis tries to encourage Ana while they pace the hospital corridors awaiting the births, but neither know how inextricably linked their lives are about to become.
