Director: Paul Thomas Anderson
Stars: Daniel Day-Lewis, Lesley Manville, Camilla Rutherford, Vicky Krieps

Acclaimed actor Daniel Day-Lewis announced his retirement last year, making Phantom Thread potentially the last chance to see him on the big screen. Set in 1950’s post-war London, renowned dressmaker Reynolds Woodcock (Daniel Day-Lewis) and his sister Cyril (Lesley Manville) are at the centre of British fashion, dressing royalty, movie stars, heiresses, socialites, debutants and dames with distinct style. Women come and go through Woodcock’s life, until he comes across a young, strong-willed woman, Alma (Vicky Krieps), who becomes his muse and lover. Once controlled and planned, he finds his carefully tailored life disrupted by an all-encompassing obsession.

Parent & Baby Screening: Wed 14 Feb, 11am
