Welcome back to Storyhouse. We put customer safety at the top of everything we do, however at this time that means a little more than making sure you don’t get struck inadvertently by an actor! It now also means keeping 2 metres apart and wearing a face covering on the move inside the building. We will be asking all our customer to both enjoy themselves and to stick to some easy to follow guidelines. Find out how we’re keeping you safe here.

Directed by: Melina Matsoukas
Starring: Daniel Kaluuya, Jodie Turner-Smith, Chloe Sevingy, Flea

Queen & Slim is the directorial debut feature film from visionary two-time Grammy winner Melina Matoukas and trailblazing Emmy-winning writer Lena Waithe has become one of the most important films to see this year following recent events in the US and the ensuing Black Lives Matter protests across the world.

With a narrative riffing off the classic Bonnie and Clyde story, Queen & Slim is a modern protest film that tackles head-on the pain of systemic racism and the continued police brutality towards African Americans in the States whilst telling a powerful and thoroughly modern-day love story.
