To celebrate International Women’s Day 2019, Chester Women’s Aid are launching an exciting Art Project across Cheshire and beyond! This will not only raise social awareness of how women are represented in our city and our world, but will also be an integral part of a thrilling Chester Art Trail in the lead up to the event, under the theme of… “RePresenting Women”

Your family or group can get involved today to create a VENUS Art Work which could be used as part of a city wide trail which will kick off in February half term and end on International Women’s Day on Saturday 9th March 2019.

At this drop-in workshop there will be cardboard and art materials for you to make your own group VENUS or contribute to a group Storyhouse Community VENUS. All you need to do is bring along pictures, drawings or photos of women that inspire you!
