Part of: Silver Screenings

Directed by Lola Quivoron
Starring Julie Ledru, Yannis Lafki, Antonia Buresi

Rodeo is an action-packed drama about a young woman from the banlieue who wants in on the subculture of illegal motocross racing. Julie, an inexperienced but fearless rider is making herself known in the very male ‘rodeo’ world. She joins a racing crew working for an imprisoned gangster, and bonds with his wife.

With hair-raising action sequences, a terrific, characterful non-professional cast, this audacious, emotionally charged debut feature flies the flag for the exciting guerrilla-style cinema.

On Friday 12 May there will be a pre-recorded Q&A with director Lola Quivoron, hosted by Reclaim The Frame’s Melanie Iredale.
