Join writer, director and performer Janys Chambers for a masterclass in writing an effective, thrilling first-person monologue inspired by the rich history of Chester’s Rows. All levels of experience, including beginners, are welcome.
Working with the rich array of stories that inhabit these iconic Chester landmarks, you’ll create your very own character and history drawn from the past or from the present day. Chester’s Rows echo with many different voices. Come and discover yours at this free workshop.
These writing workshops are part of Refresh, a programme of cultural events for Chester, culminating in March 2022, when there may even be the opportunity to have your monologue performed, either by yourself or by an actor!
