GLEE CLUB!
A session ran by Barbara Hockaday, currently starring in The Beggar’s Opera and Alice in Wonderland at Storyhouse and Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre!

Learn a fun arrangement of a current pop song and choreography to go with it – we’ll work on getting rhythm and harmony sounding really slick and then sell it with the best moves. We’ll find big smiles and bold moves to perform it in the Storyhouse Kitchen at the end of the session. All voices welcome, no experience necessary!

Friday 11 August 11am-12 noon in the Garret Theatre
IF BOOKS COULD SING!
A session ran by Chris Staines, currently starring in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Julius Caesar at Storyhouse and Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre!

The Storyhouse Library is a treasure trove of words, which we will plunder for rhythm and sound, characters and story. We’ll turn it into music and song and have a go at shaping it into our own mini-opera. Absolutely no need to be an opera singer to take part, just bring your imagination!

Friday 18 August 11am-12noon in the Garret Theatre
MUSICAL THEATRE!
A session ran by Charlotte Miranda-Smith, currently starring as Polly Peachum in The Beggar’s Opera and also in Alice in Wonderland at Storyhouse and Grosvenor Park Open Air Theatre.

Come and join professional performer and singing teacher Charlotte Miranda-Smith, to explore the joys that Musical Theatre has to offer. There are all sorts of styles of singing found in musicals from operatic to hip hop. Come and play with these different vocal sounds and learn some exciting material from the worlds of the West End and Broadway. Everybody welcome to come and have some fun belting out some great tunes!
