Based on Patrick DeWitt’s acclaimed novel. Gold prospector Hermann Kermit Warm, is being pursued across a 1000 miles of 1850s Oregon desert by the notorious assassins Eli and Charlie Sisters. On route Eli begins to have a personal crisis, doubting if life as an assassin is a good long-term career. The English language debut from thoughtful French director Jacques Audiard is a charming and comic Western set against the backdrop of The Gold Rush.
